Discord setup guide

Prepare your Discord bot token before opening onboarding Step 6.

Steps

1. Open the Discord Developer Portal (discord.com/developers/applications) and create a new application.

2. Go to the Bot section, add a bot, and copy the bot token.

3. In Installation settings, set Install Link to None.

4. In Bot settings, disable Public Bot and enable Message Content Intent.

5. In OAuth2 URL Generator, select scope `bot` and permissions `Send Messages` + `Read Message History`.

6. Invite the bot to your server (OAuth2 URL stays in Discord and is not entered in Go Butler).

7. Paste only the bot token into Go Butler channel setup.
